This study discusses the criteria for actions that can be classified as acts of religious blasphemy. The aim is to find out in-depth types criminal blasphemy, well legal provisions and sanctions against perpetrators who intentionally commit such acts. research descriptive qualitative using a normative juridical approach. To obtain data in viewing issues discussed, authors use methods through library secondary data. results show blasphemy include all kinds slanderous aimed directly at religion professed, either orally or writing, regardless whether it will endanger public order not, with people do not adhere particular religion.
